Friday Mashup…and a Glamette!

I’m pretty proud of this card, so you might notice it’s a bit larger than the photos on my other posts.  (heehee) I created this one back in June, for the Friday Mashup #62 here, and was chosen as a “Glamette” of the week! Woo-Hoo!  Hey, this papercrafting relative-newbie will take a runner-up win any day!

This particular challenge called for working with the weekly sketch and/or creating a project with birds. I chose to do both, and used a bunch of items from the 2012 SAB catalog to make my card. I guess the only current item used is the Pool Party seam binding ribbon I used to make the brad-clipped bow. This particular sketch is a very good one, though, and I’ve used it a couple of times since this card. The sketch would easily translate to any of SU’s wonderfully coordinated DSP’s. In fact, looking at this card again, I think I’ll make another version of it using some product from the 2012 annual catalog…and maybe even something Christmasy…the possibilities with ink and paper are, as always–endless!

Thanks for visiting my Little Corner today! –Terri
