Some Punkins

So, extremely late to the table with any of My Paper Pumpkin creations, but here a few from older kits that I finally got together. A lot of the time, I add to the basic kit, after I try one of the items made (almost) exactly by the directions. It’s a lot of fun seeing what I have in my stash that will work with the Kit contents, and oftentimes, my add-ins have helped me like a kit a lot that wasn’t that thrilling to me at first.

“Seriously?” Yes, this one came in handy for a friend who kicked cancer’s booty recently. I embellished freely on this one, and stamped a lot on the inside and the envelope.

This is seriously from the April, 2013 My Paper Pumpkin Kit, and made 4 cards. And I seriously loved everything about it.

The June, 2013 kit will live in infamy as my least favorite Paper Pumpkin. I did up each card pretty simply –adding in only the card stock cropped with the Decorative Label Punch. Not wild about the colors, not a huge fan of geometrics….but I still like the finished card and it’s a good one to have on hand for a quick greeting or note to a friend.

This one, from the first/introductory kit WAS my least favorite, until I added a bunch of extras to it. Again, it’s the color thing that made me feel less loving (I’m just not a green/yellow girl), so I threw in some pops of Poppy Parade to go along with that Lucky Limeade and Daffodil Delight and I was suddenly a happy stamper again. The sentiment with this set is one I’ll use over and over, I’m sure. This is the initial kit (first offered March, 2013) MPP, and made up 4 cards.

Bottom line for My Paper Pumpkin?  I love it!  I love the surprise factor–and end up enjoying each kit even when I may not be bowled over by it at first. I love that I have all these great extra stamps to add to my collection now, and there are a few leftovers in the way of embellishments here and there from each kit that I’ll add to my stash and use up at some point. But my very favorite thing about My Paper Pumpkin so far is that I have Stampin’ Spots again!
