Merrily Mixing Old and New

Christmas cards4

Amongst the massive stash of patterned and Designer Series Papers I have, there is a WHOLE bunch of Christmas stuff. I’ve bought stuff on sale at local crafts stores in past years and friends and family members gift me with all kinds of paper goodies now, so “massive” isn’t too much of an exaggeration. And I’ve actually used a lot of it in the various Christmas cardmaking projects I’ve had the last couple of years with church and other events. Here are some random samples of cards put together in recent weeks.

Christmas cards1

All of these old papers have been tricked out with some old and new SU! stamps, cardstock, and various embellishments. This batch is heavy on Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke accompaniments.  I’ve got another batch that have a more vintage vibe, and yet another with some rather bold/modern black and vanilla stuff going on. One can never have too much Christmas goodies to play with!
