The amazing Patty Bennett has a video tutorial here that I used as inspiration for a group of cards I’ll be showcasing this week. I basically used her layout idea–designed for the SU notecard size–and adapted it to fit the size I needed for my batch of cards. It simply produced the perfect way to showcase this wonderful SU paper stack, my stash of ribbon, and the messages I wanted to convey.
Here’s what I used (all Stampin’ UP!):
- Stamps/Ink: nada on this card!
- Paper: Serene Scenery DSP Stack; Whisper White, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Delightful Dijon Cardstocks
- Tools: Stitched Shapes Framelits; Layering Ovals Framelits; Sunshine Wishes Thinlits
- Embellishments: Metallic Enamel Shapes; Linen Thread; 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon; Delightful Dijon Grosgrain Ribbon (retired)
