Shine On!

Shine On 1

Day 3 of my Serene Scenery batch of cards was inspired both by Patty Bennett’s tutorial here and by fellow Pal Brian King’s brilliant butchering of two of the words in the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits. A slicing-and-dicing, and then a mash-up of “sunshine” and “congrats” produced Brian’s “shine on”–a perfectly bright and happy phrase, backed with some more serenity in this fabulous dsp.

Shine On 2Here’s what I used (all Stampin’ UP!):

  • Stamps/Ink: none needed here!
  • Paper: Serene Scenery DSP Stack; Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Whisper White Cardstocks
  • Tools: Stitched Shapes Framelits; Layering Ovals Framelits; Sunshine Wishes Thinlits
  • Embellishments: 5/8″ Burlap Ribbon; Gold Sequin Trim, Metallic Enamel Shapes
